MIFF x MV Giveaway Competition entry Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statement

1. The competition opens on [13 August 2025] at [04:00PM] AEST.
2. The competition ends on [15 August 2025] at [12:00PM] AEST.
3. The competition is open to anyone who has [Commented and tagged another user on the Instagram post].
4. Entry is not open to Museums Victoria employees, contractors or volunteers, or people in their immediate families.
5. Multiple entries per participant will not be accepted.
6. To be eligible to win a prize, each participant must [Comment and tag another use on the Instagram post outlining the competition details].
7. There will be [1] prize draw/s. The prize consists of [one double pass to any standard screening of MIFF] (to the value of $65). The prize is not transferable, nor can it be redeemed for cash.
8. There will be [1] prize winner/s.
9. The competition draw will be conducted on [15 August 2025] and the winner/s notified thereafter.
10. The prize winner/s will be drawn randomly from the valid entries.
11. The prize winner/s will be notified [via direct message] of their prize [social handle they commented on the post with].
12. The prize winner’s/winners’ name/s will be published on [the Museums Victoria WEBSITE] on [15 August 2025].
13. A prize not claimed within [7] days of email notification will be deemed void.
14. OR If Museums Victoria, after using all reasonable efforts, cannot contact the/a winner within [7] days of the prize draw, then they will be substituted via a second draw from the remaining valid entries.
15. Each participant must provide their [first name, last name, social handle and email address]. This information will only be used to conduct the prize draw and notify and publish the winner/s. Museums Victoria will retain records relating to the competition for a period of three (3) years after the finalisation of the competition.
16. Museums Victoria is not liable for any late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries.
17. Museums Victoria reserves the right to verify the identity of a participant to confirm they are the winner.
18. Museums Victoria reserves the right to disqualify entries at its sole, reasonable discretion.
19. Decisions of Museums Victoria regarding the winning of prizes are final and binding.
20. In the event that the prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond Museums Victoria’s reasonable control, Museums Victoria reserves the right to provide a similar product to the same or greater value as the original prize.
21. Museums Victoria will not disclose any personal information provided by participants to any third party, except as provided for under these terms and conditions, or as otherwise required or permitted by law.
