I have more than 12 years’ experience working in museums at international venues for a wide range of exhibitions. I was Head of Exhibition Design/Exhibition Manager at one of the biggest contemporary art museums in Latin America, University Museum of Contemporary Art (MUAC).
I cofounded a Consultancy Design Studio working for international projects such as the DaVinci and Michelangelo exhibition for the National Fine Arts Museum in Mexico City and the renovation of the National Museum of Birds in Coahuila Mexico. My work at the studio also included designing exhibitions for the Bronx Museum and Museo del Barrio in New York, and long collaborations with Amparo Museum in Puebla and the Contemporary Art Centre of Bordeaux (CAPC), France, including the design of the permanent collection for both venues.
For a year and a half, I have been lecturing in the Specialisation of Exhibition Design for Museums and Galleries at RMIT, Melbourne. I joined the First Peoples department at Melbourne Museum due to my experience working with indigenous communities in Latin America and I’m looking to expand my experience allowing me to grow as a professional and contribute to the industry.
