A specifically tailored evening for Cub Scouts to help obtain the Level 1 Space Badge.

The evening will begin with a planetarium show that will conclude with a “What’s in the Sky Tonight” presentation that includes how the Southern Cross can be used to find due South and the best direction to observe visible planets and the International Space Station. In addition to a planetarium show, each Cub Scout will be provided with a show bag containing activities that will assist in fulfilling their space badge requirements.

There will also be an opportunity to view the night sky through telescopes (weather permitting).

The Sportsworks exhibition will also be open for viewing.


Saturday 2 June 2017. 

Session 1
Arrive 4pm for 4.30–6pm session (includes Planetarium show, telescope viewing – weather permitting and Sportsworks exhibition)

Session 2 (repeat)
Arrive 5pm for 5.30–7pm session (includes Planetarium shows, telescope viewing – weather permitting and Sportsworks exhibition viewing)


Child/Cub Scout: $15 
Adults:  1 free adult/leader entry with every eight Cub Scouts.
Additional adults: $20
