The café is open from 10am–3.30pm Monday to Friday, 10am–4.30pm on weekends and public holidays.
Important Notice Regarding Food Allergies
While the Scienceworks catering outlets endeavour to accommodate guests with food allergies or intolerances, due to the potential for trace allergens in the working environment and supplied ingredients, we cannot guarantee completely allergy-free meals.
Encourage the budding Einstein in your family with great favourites such as crystal growing, erupting volcano kits, weather stations and crystal radios. Microscopes, telescopes and gyroscopes are all here too.
We also have plenty of books in the fields of science and astronomy, experiments, encyclopaedias, planispheres, and a large range of astronomy posters.
Also stocked are glow in the dark stars, stickers and space mobiles, puzzles and mind-stimulating gizmos and gadgets.
The Scienceworks shop is open daily from 10am–4.30pm.
Melbourne Water is currently undertaking a renewal project to upgrade some sections of the sewerage network that runs below Scienceworks.
During this time, you may see cranes and other equipment onsite at Scienceworks and experience increased noise and odour levels around the construction area. The project is expected to be completed in 2018.
