Create your own augmented reality Triceratops at Melbourne Museum!
Opening with immersive experiences that share behind-the-scenes knowledge of the discovery of the Triceratops, participants will engage with digital art technologies to design and colour a digital ‘skin’ for their augmented reality Triceratops.
Our digital program experts support children and adults along the journey with simple steps to encourage creativity and collaboration in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. All creative technology is provided. Participants should bring their sense of adventure and willingness to try something new.
At the end of the workshop, participants receive a digital file which enables them to view their Triceratops in augmented reality in their home.
This program is an intergenerational learning workshop. It is suitable for children ages 6-12 years with an accompanying adult. We encourage adults and children to work collaboratively to develop new skills and knowledge.
