Tiny Tours: Ant to Apple

Mondays

Without insects, there would be less food on your table.

Dive into the amazing world of insects and discover how these tiny creatures play a big role in our food systems. On this tour, young explorers see firsthand how ants, bees and other insects contribute to everything from growing fruits and vegetables to maintaining healthy ecosystems. Through fun, hands-on experiences, children gain a new appreciation for the essential tasks these small but mighty creatures perform every day.

The tour includes the Forest Gallery, Gandel Gondwana Garden and Bugs Alive! exhibition.

Please note: As parts of this tour take place outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather.

Please contact our bookings team on 13 11 02 or email us at [email protected] for children older than 5 years. Tickets include entry to the museum and the Children's Gallery.
