The Chinese Youth Society of Melbourne (CYSM)
The CYSM is a non-profit organisation dedicated to celebrating and promoting Chinese culture. Home to one of Australia’s premier Dragon Dance Teams, CYSM performs at various events, from parades to stage shows. Established in 1968, the CYSM Dance Team shares the vibrant art of lion dancing with the local community and beyond. Over the years, they have participated in numerous performances and festivals, fostering connections with dance troupes and community groups worldwide. Through their efforts, they continue to enrich the cultural landscape of Melbourne and promote global friendship.
