Aloy Junco
AFRO-CUBAN DANCE MAESTRO AND MUSICIAN
Growing up in Havana, Cuba, where each neighbourhood had its own Casa de la Cultura - a cultural hub for art, music, and dancing – Aloy Junco started dancing at an early age and quickly found his calling. Whether he is dancing traditional Afro-Cuban styles, or Cuban Salsa in a club, Aloy's movements are graceful yet masculine.
A pioneer of Cuban dance in Australia, and one of the finest Latin and Cuban folkloric dancers and dance instructors around the world. Aloy regularly performs at festivals both locally and internationally. He currently teaches in Melbourne at the CubaNeo dance studio.
