Information for your visit

Immigration Museum actively promotes the management of a COVID Safe environment for all visitors and staff. Our COVID Safe plan reflects the most up-to-date public health directions.

In line with Victorian Government guidelines, we have a new range of health and safety measures in place:

COVID-19 vaccination requirement

All visitors over the age of 12 and two months must be fully vaccinated, or have a medical exemption, and will be required to show their COVID-19 vaccination status or medical exemption as a condition of entry.

Visitors can show their vaccination status or medical exemption with a COVID-19 digital certificate displayed through the Service Victoria app, Medicare app, or equivalent smartphone wallet. They can also present a printed version of their immunisation history statement.

Please make sure you add your COVID-19 digital certificate to your Service Victoria app before you arrive.

Contact tracing

You will be asked to complete contact tracing via the Service Victoria contact tracing portal as you arrive at Immigration Museum.

We need your help

Don't forget to practice physical distancing and good hand hygiene. If you’re unwell, please rest up at home and visit us when you are well again.

Increased safety measures

All galleries are open with restricted visitor numbers in enclosed spaces and increased cleaning, hygiene and physical distancing measures in place.

Cashless payments

We're currently cashless across our venues – including shops and cafes.
