Live exhibits

Melbourne Museum is home to an array of live animal exhibits. A knowledgeable Museum expert will reveal a selection of insects, lizards and snakes from the Museum’s live animal collection.

Delight your guests by introducing them to our collection of live reptiles - did you know Olive the Olive Python is endemic to Australia and found in rocky areas near water in North Australia, with a life span of up to 15+ years! Perhaps your guests may be interested to learn that Beth the Blue-tongued lizard is native to Australia, with a total length of 400-600mm.

Pricing starts at $500 per hour, including an expert Keeper to handle the animal, whilst allowing guest interaction and providing biology information.
