STEM in the Victorian Curriculum
Understand where STEM fits in the Victorian Curriculum and leave with practical ideas to implement in the classroom.
Teachers will explore frameworks for STEM projects within the Victorian Curriculum as well as curriculum links for STEM skills and content. Teachers define and plan what STEM means in their school context. Teachers engage in a number of hands-on activities and experience resources that bring to life the new Digital Technologies curriculum. Teachers learn how to leverage museum exhibitions as sparks for STEM learning. Teachers learn how to facilitate and participate in a design challenge with a view to extending the task to a design sprint.
