STEM Design Sprints are workshops where students experience the entire design process from start to finish in the space of one day.
The Scienceworks education team has been producing human-centred STEM Design Sprints for students and teachers since 2018. Our design problems have ranged from building more inclusive communities to designing safe moon habitation, and many things between. Come for an after-school session and learn from our experience: our mistakes, our successes, and what technology tools work well.
Program covers
- How to run a STEM Design Sprint using a human-centred-design framework
- Examples of topics for a Design Sprint
- Examples of tools to build design prototypes
Teachers will be provided
- The ability and confidence to run their own STEM Design Sprint
