Jewellery is used customarily across Africa to accentuate beauty and for adornment on formal and daily occasions.
Werkê is the term used for ‘my gold’ in Amharic and Tigrinya. It is also the name of owner and founder, Betty Demesew’s, beloved grandmother who inspired and raised her to love her culture. Betty’s honours her grandmother’s memory by creating this brand in her name.
