Join us these school holidays as we explore Turkish pastimes and cultural traditions in our very own Turkish-inspired yuva.
 

Turkish Yuva

Daily, 10am–5pm

In Tukey the word yuva means home or nest and is used to describe a cosy place where families come together. 

Hosted and supported by the Immigration Museum, Moreland Turkish Association, presented in association with Victorian. And Proud of it.
 

Sofra Festival

Sunday 16 September, 11am–4pm

On day one of the holidays, families can join in a range of Turkish cultural activities (and food options!) at the Sofra Festival.

Ebru Workshops

Wednesdays during school holidays, drop in between 11am–2pm

Drop in to for some free workshops with local artist Oznur Ates. This fascinating art form uses water, dye and unique tools to produce mesmerising works on paper.

Tiny Dancers

Sunday 7 October, 11.30am, 2pm & 3pm

Set within a framework of storytelling, exploration and artistic play, these 30-minute programs led by a Queensland Ballet EdSquad teaching Artist encourage creative moment, personal expression and greater confidence. Suitable for children aged 2–5 years old.
