Winter workshops and holiday fun for families at the Immigration Museum.

Join us for family-fun craft, storytelling and dance workshops inspired by the story of Mao's Last Dancer, Li Cunxin. Discover his incredible journey from impoverished child to world-famous dancer and get ready to dance and dream big!
Suitable for children aged 5 to 10 years.
Tickets: Museum Members child $7, Child $10
Adult admission to workshop is free with museum entry. Admission includes entry to the Mao's Last Dancer exhibition.

Learn how to Chinese Square Dance at the Immigration Museum.
Join us each Friday of the school holidays for free participatory lunchtime Chinese Square Dancing performances.
Suitable for all ages and abilities, learn the modern combination of dance and exercise that has been taking China by storm for centuries!
Each Friday of the school holidays we will open the Immigration Museum courtyard to the historical tradition of China's plaza, or square dancing with free participatory performances for young and old.
