Marvel at live demonstrations of intricate embroidery, micro-crochet, and artisanal floral techniques and participate in workshops to create your own handcrafted accessories blending Chinese aesthetics and French artforms

Wei (Vivi) Huang was born in China and later moved to Paris to study at the Esmod Fashion Institute, where she specialized in high-end fashion design and advanced French embroidery techniques. After years of professional experience in Paris, she migrated to Melbourne, bringing with her a deep appreciation for European haute couture craftsmanship while also staying connected to her Chinese heritage.

Inspired by the rich traditions of French embroidery and high fashion, Vivi founded Décembre Studio - a space where people could learn and appreciate the meticulous techniques behind haute couture. She aims to preserve and share these delicate art forms by blending Eastern and Western influences in contemporary fashion, and to educate aspiring designers and makers on the secrets of haute couture.

Vivi brings a unique cross-cultural perspective to her work. Her designs reflect the fusion of Eastern aesthetics and Western craftsmanship, and her approach to teaching incorporates both precision-driven European techniques and the storytelling aspects of Chinese art.
