Intercultural capabilities and cultural diversity in the curriculum: whose stories?

As Cultural Diversity Week begins, Brendan Hitchens and Satoshi Sanada from the Asia Education Foundation and Jan Molloy from Immigration Museum, will lead the conversation and offer perspectives from primary and secondary classrooms as we all consider representation and reflections of cultural diversity in the classroom materials.

School and cluster groups, program led by museum staff
Museum experiences can have a powerful impact on student learning; a professional development workshop run by Immigration Museum education staff can be designed to school or cluster group needs.
Sessions can include immigration history and/or topical issues, current learning theory and its application to museum experiences, the deconstruction of exhibitions and practical activities for use in the classroom.
