PRISM is an online, open-access humanities journal published by Museums Victoria. With a particular focus on interdisciplinary research and contemporary perspectives, PRISM seeks to engage, explore and challenge the stories, ideas and histories contained within our collections at Museums Victoria.
PRISM
Humanities research is expansive, and PRISM represents a cross-section of contemporary discourse across a range of areas, including First Peoples communities and cultures, Australian social, cultural and political histories, collection management and conservation. PRISM promotes and amplifies interdisciplinary collaboration, both inside and outside the museum.
The journal is published annually and showcases the research undertaken by Museums Victoria Research Institute staff and research collaborators.
The first volume of PRISM will be published in June 2025.
