Abstract

Astrosarkus lu n. sp. (Oreasteridae, Valvatida; Asteroidea) is described in addition to new in situ observations.
Further occurrences of Indo-Pacific Oreasteridae are surveyed, with emphasis on distributions in the relatively poorly understood mesophotic zone.
