A staff member will introduce students to the First Peoples exhibition. They will learn about some of the protocols associated with this aspect of our shared history.
Students will be provided with a trail to focus their attention, which can also be used back at school to reflect on their learning in the space.

Students learn about the diversity and longevity of south-eastern First Peoples and the impact of colonisation on their daily life and culture.
Students learn about the diversity of south-eastern First Peoples as part of the longest continuous culture in the history of the world. They explore agricultural practices of First Peoples, and which technologies were developed to support this.
The Modern World: year 9 and 10
Students learn about the diversity of south-eastern First Peoples and how they have fought for their Country and their rights.
A guide for Deeper Learning: year 11 and 12
Students learn about the non-homogeneity of First Peoples cultures and gain a deeper understanding of the complex history and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Australia.
