I am passionate about wildlife, research and conservation. I obtained my PhD in Zoology at the University of Otago where I investigated the spatial ecology and genetic population structure of the common brushtail possum within a New Zealand urban environment. Upon completion of my PhD, I moved to Melbourne and joined Museums Victoria in 2014.

During my time at Melbourne Museum, I have been involved in numerous projects spanning a range of taxa including molecular genetics, bioacoustics (birds), Bioscans and registering tissue samples into the State Collection.
