Professional learning

Two female teachers look on as a female museum staff member uses the mouse pad on a laptop. One teacher looks down at a blue car shaped robot with electronics on top.

With particular expertise in STEM, digital technologies, physics and astronomy, examples of professional learning topics include:

  • Robotics and coding
  • STEM projects and innovation
  • Makerspaces, tinkering and creative thinking
  • Electricity and magnetism
  • Astronomy and Space Sciences

The Scienceworks education team can support professional learning tailored to school and curriculum needs for all year levels from kindergarten to tertiary. A variety of professional learning formats can be arranged. We can incorporate staff-led workshops, problem-based challenges, project design and support, teacher and student co-learning models, and exhibition explorations.

For individual teacher professional learning registration, see our scheduled workshop sessions below and partner offerings.
