Scott and Charlene’s Wedding Cake

After 37 years and almost 9,000 episodes, Australian soap Neighbours will air its final season in 2022. To celebrate, the replica of Scott and Charlene’s wedding cake is on display.

The most famous Neighbours episode remains Scott and Charlene’s wedding, with over 2 million Australians watching in 1987.

In 2000 prop maker David O'Grady created the replica model featuring the original cake topper, for the inaugural Melbourne exhibition at the new Melbourne Museum site.

Over the years the cake has delighted visitors, and now the model is on showcase to celebrate the conclusion of the much loved TV show.
