Professor Felice Jacka, Director, Food and Mood Centre, School of Medicine at Deakin University, will reveal the latest research about how our minds, guts and microbes are inextricably linked and expand on the theme of Museums Victoria’s latest exhibition Gut Feelings.
Professor Jacka is a leader in this rapidly emerging field of research. She will explain the latest evidence and describe new strategies to treat and prevent mental disorders.
Professor Felice Jacka is an NHMRC Career Development Fellow at Deakin University where she is director of the new Food & Mood Centre. She is founder and president of the International Society for Nutritional Psychiatry Research (ISNPR).
The Gut Feelings exhibition will be open for viewing before the lecture.
