Presented in conjunction with National Science Week

From the Alps to the Abyss, museum scientists are describing and monitoring Australia’s amazing biodiversity.

Using research collections to assist conservation management, they explore patterns and evolution of biodiversity, and communicate natural wonders to the people of Australia. Samples from the recent deep-sea voyage as well as specimens from Bioscans and bush expeditions along the banks of the Murray River and Croajingalong National Park will be on display.

Drop by to discover the stories of these fascinating specimens as told by our team of Scientists over Friday 18th and Saturday 19th August.
