Gemma is a graphic designer working in-house at Melbourne Museum. She has a passion for experiential graphic design and connecting people to place.
Since graduating from RMIT with a Bachelor of Communication Design (Honours), and more than ten years of experience in the design industry, she has had the pleasure of designing for zoos, museums, cultural icons and public places creating anything from interpretation and way finding, to books and brands.
Since she began her subscription to Vogue Living at age 12, Katherine has loved all things design and decoration. She graduated from RMIT in 2005 with a Bachelor of Design – Interior Design and began her career as an assistant in the Exhibition Design Department at the National Gallery of Victoria. Over the following 9 years she progressed to the role of Senior Designer and designed and collaborated on over 50 exhibitions. More recently Katherine has launched her own design practice, Hohab, a spatial design studio specialising in bespoke exhibition fit outs with an emphasis on quality, reusable design.
Anna is an Exhibition Designer at the Melbourne Museum, specialising in 3D Spatial Design. She graduated with a Masters of Architecture from the University of Melbourne after completing a Bachelor of Arts (Literature/Philosophy). Anna went on to pursue Exhibition Design, designing spaces for ACMI, the National Museum of Australia and the National Museum of Qatar before joining the design studio at the Melbourne Museum. Her role requires a combination technical and imaginative skills across a broad range of production processes, culminating in immersive built environments that tell a story.
Jessica Louey is a Communication Designer in the Melbourne Museum design studio. After graduating with a Bachelor of Design (Honours) from Swinburne University, Jessica worked as graphic designer for a range of Melbourne studios with a focus on branding before landing her dream job at the Museum.
Jess is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Melbourne. Since completing a Bachelor of Communication Design (RMIT), he’s worked across the arts and not-for-profit sectors in Australia and the U.K. He’s currently an in-house communication designer at Melbourne Museum, responsible for designing everything from marketing collateral to exhibition graphics. Aside from design, Jess is a keen artist and had written and illustrated several picture books.
Jesse is an award-winning content creator working out of Melbourne. His work has reached millions of people and screened at festivals worldwide. Always inspired by the subject and always exploring the depths of a rather wild imagination. Notable clients include Flying Nun Records, BBC, EMI, Australian Centre for the Moving Image and Modular Records. Jesse currently holds a full-time position as a Digital Content Producer at Museums Victoria. His aim is to broaden the organisations engagement and visibility by creating bespoke, digital specific content. This content can be many things, videos, podcasts, articles, digital games and apps.
