What was life like for children in the past? What can toys tell us about their lives? How was it different, how was it the same?
In Fun and Games students observe and interact with traditional playthings and games from different historical periods within the museum environment. They interrogate the historical concept of change and continuity.
Students consider the impact of technology, changing attitudes towards safety and the rights of children. Through this process they can further develop historical skills and understanding.
