What's On

As special treat during our Summer of Love, Immigration Museum will be open late on Valentine's Day to give lovers, friends, families and singles the opportunity to enjoy our current group of specially-commissioned exhibitions with three very different connections to love.

Be immersed in LOVE, a moving exhibition curated in collaboration with the Heide Museum of Modern Art exploring love in all it's joyous, illogical, heart-breaking and tender glory. Wander through purpose-built, immersive "love shacks" guided by first-person storytelling and an all-Australian musical love themed soundtrack. Share your own love story to the central Heart Garden installation, and be prepared to have your heart lifted, inspired, broken and challenged.

Alongside this are new soulmate exhibitions Kahlil Gibran: The Garden of the Prophet, a unique look at the life and work of the literary icon behind The Prophet; and Grow, Gather, Share, a beautiful display that celebrates the diversity of gardening and food here in Victoria.

For those seeking something a little more unusual why not pair your visit our Love Potions & Aphrodisiacs workshop.
