Three Stories of Movement

Part of Asia TOPA

Be mesmerised with a series of solo and ensemble contemporary dance performances by Melbourne-based artists Victoria Chiu, Ding Chai, Priya Srinivasan and Arun Munoz.

Grotto by Victoria Chiu

Victoria takes inspiration from cultural artwork dotted along walls and streets across Melbourne to deliver an exquisite dance performance. This project is supported by the City of Melbourne annual Arts Grants Program.

I am Ding Chai by Ding Chai (Tony Yap)

Ding celebrates the body and being human by exploring and questioning the body and human changes.

What’s Left by Priya Srinivasan and Arun Munoz with Tabassom Ostad and Uthra Vijay

Priya and Arun explores moving and travelling and the ideas around what we take and what we leave behind.

These three original works of movement will explore Asian migration stories, including themes of the body, belonging and place, and will respond to the bold architecture of the Immigration Museum's Long Room.

Tickets are available via the Asia TOPA website until 4pm the day prior to the performance. Tickets can be purchased on the day at the Immigration Museum ticket desk.
