What's On

Experience something special at our brand new Members Masterclasses. Designed especially for our members, we are collaborating with creatives, experts and inspirational people to host exciting and surprising masterclasses.

Under the guidance of Scott Fry, founder and Managing director from Loving Earth, indulge in the wonder of chocolate. Loving Earth are an ethically driven company specialising in making chocolate from cacao which has been grown by the Ashaninka community, in the remote forest at the source of the Amazon River in Peru. Fully plant based, sustainable and totally organic, you will depart this masterclass with a new appreciation of chocolate.

To begin this masterclass, we will all take a moment of mindfulness to set our intention and fully appreciate the taste, smell and texture of chocolate.

Learn how to temper chocolate and discover an assortment of toppings that you will blend together to create a delicious chocolate bar that can be shared with friends or family (or that you can savour for yourself). Design your own, fully compostable, chocolate bar wrapper while learning about some of Loving Earth’s key principals and philosophies as a regenerative organic chocolate company.

After making your sweet treats, top-off your visit and see LOVE in the stunning Long Room on level 1.

If it’s warm, please bring a cooler for the safe transport home of your creations. Suitable for vegans, gluten free, soy free, unfortunately not individuals with nut allergies.

Museum Members attending this workshop will receive complimentary parking at 15 William Street. The free exit pass will be provided at the Masterclass.

Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
