Asia TOPA: Asia-Pacific Triennial of Performing Arts

Celebrate our relationship with contemporary Asia. Vital, fresh and always unpredictable, Asia TOPA offers a city-wide window onto the creative imaginations fuelling the many cultures of our region.

This dazzling array of artists will provide new ways of understanding the deep connections that run between us all. Asia TOPA bridges diverse art forms including performance, visual, screen and literary arts. If English is not your first language there are a multitude of non-verbal works for you to consider.

The Immigration Museum brings unprecedented offerings to the Asia TOPA program:

Kung Fu Motion

3-28 February, 10am-5pm, Adults $14, Concession and Children Free

3D holographic and video installation that re-creates the precise and intricate movements of Hakka Kung Fu traditions as dramatic and abstract patterns of motion-over-time.
