As an Assistant Collection Manager, I help manage the mammal, reptile, amphibian, bird and fish collections at Museums Victoria. My role includes specimen preparation, assisting with field work, data management, facilitating access to the collections and providing expertise on the vertebrate collections to help with public enquiries, exhibitions and other stakeholders.
I have a variety of interests but I am particularly passionate about marine fauna. I studied marine invertebrate communities in Port Phillip Bay for my Masters degree and I described a new species of marine worm with my Museum colleague, Dr Robin Wilson.
